Charcoal Filter

The Spectra charcoal filter is compatible with the full range of Spectra watermakers, designed to remove chlorine from the water supply to eliminate any taste or odor during the watermakers flush cycle. This is also necessary to protect the reverse osmosis membrane, as it can only handle small quantities of chlorine before suffering permanent damage.

The charcoal filter should be replaced after 12,000 liters (3000 gallons) or six months, whichever comes first. The charcoal in the filter loses effectiveness after six months regardless or usage.
